Sorry fellas, I don't want to rain on your parade, it looks as though it is a widened wheel that has been welded. Note the silver and balck paint with a weld between. I believe they are now illegal.

Hi Guys.
One weld is OK. This was common practice & often the only way to get the desired width. The illegal bit is if you use 2 welds to insert a strip of metal to gain width.

these rims are genuine australian rims
14 x 6 stockers dated 1973 , what made
you think they were widened , compared with other
whhels they are correct with four inner welds ,
have a closer look , i have measured the wheels .

May have been a repair job then, but there is definitely a bead of weld round it and two different colours either side of it.

i just had a look thru my pile last nite, there appears to be a slight difference in offset from JJ to JK also.
