Yo! In this exciting question, we have great need for a brilliantly trained electrically knowledgable person, to assist BB. I have been able to adapt a windscreen wiper motor to door handle spindle in space age campervan, I have a number of spare electric window switches, problem is BB is not smarter than the average daily bear, and cannot figure out which wires go on which terminal in each switch to go on which wire on windscreen wiper motor?? if i put power to motor, and then swap wires the window goes up and down?? [hehehehehe, brilliant bear!!!] but when driving cant do this, because of risk of running off road!! so your help is a matter of safety, for you and BB. thanks already BB
ptpro some men see things as they are, and ask "why" I dream of things that never were, and say, "bloody ripper idea mate, lets try it",!! |

The wiper motor usually earths through the body itself. Your would have to figure a way that the motor is isolated, then able to feed power to body returning down feed line as well as power down feed line returning from body.
I am thinking that with no |

window switches are a dime a dozen, just buy one off a wreck. remember the window has to go up as well as down, your suggestion only goes one way. Get a shop manual for any car from the library and have a look how they wire it up. I think you will find

The earth is most likely through the motor mounting bolts and therefore an earth wire is not needed.

it can either be the motor body or a part of the window mech, as JBM said you wont need an earth wire i forgot to say i was testing the wires with the winders out of the car so i had to have and earth lead

I missed the wiper motor bit. I reckon it would be far cheaper and easier to simply buy a proper setup at least you know it is designed for it. Also I doubt the windscreen wiper motor would have the power. and every time you make some adapter of some so
