Im starting up a HZ GTS Register. I currently have about 10 cars but obviously would like as many as possible.
no information is given out to anyone and no emails, rego info etc is stored or recorded.
What i require for the register (if you want to be included) is all 3 tag info or pics of the id tags, and also engine number and build date if you know it.
I will be making a website at some stage dedicated to the HZ GTS. So this info will help with that.
I know there is already a monaro register but i thought one just for the hz gts would be good. ( i should get off my ass and put my gts on the monaro register....)
Also after ORIGINAL pics of the HZ GTS. That i maybe able to use at some stage. Or even some other pics of all the difernt colours available as would be good to have a pic of each colour.

the 4doors are so unloved. too many years of getting shunned by the monaro people.

on ebay there is a HZ GTS in ultra blue ,rare colour you don`t see many off them.

I love the HZ GTS just as much if not more than say a HQ coupe and even a earlier monaro. dont get me wrong i would love to own a earlier model if i had the cash. BUT i would still have a HZ GTS al |

love that ultra blue one. looks fkn porn. :) makes me regret not buying a HZ GTS that was in a caryard here. cant remember exactly why i didnt in the end.. it wasnt to dear - 6 or 7 grand. and it was a 78, atlantis blue with 308, 4spd, and LSD. good ni Edited by user Thursday, 7 February 2008 1:40:04 AM(UTC)

Hi Guys.
The HZ GTS that has its doors open, has got its headlight rims on upside down. They should also be black, but some people like the highly polished look.

Good lucjk with the original picks, so many cars are modified in one way or another it makes it hard to be able to find photos that can be used. The car above is a classic example, just little things like the paining of rub strip and door handles in body

I know of 2 HZ GTS that my friends have had for 10+ years but i might see them once or twice a year.
Both 308,T400,a white car with wire wheels and the other the same blue as above pics.
Both fairly original from memory and based in melbourne.

RdS - yeh mate its unreal how often we regret buying a car =) 7-8k give it 5 years they will be 30k plus for a genuine original.

um the trims i was talking about was the ones that run along the doors. under your arm if you was sticking it on the window being "cool"
I dont believe these to be original for a HZ GTS. but aye i could be wrong......

Surely there arent too many left now. This was always a favourite of mine,I remember people use to laugh when isaid it was. Most of the ones i remember were wrecked and all the fruit put into something else. It was a fine combinationthat got messed with.

yeh i had LOTS of trouble finding a all matching HZ GTS palais white 308 turbo 400. I had been looking for about 10years for one. It is what i wanted. nothing else. so it limited my options. finaly i found one. cost me 3k!! and i have sold about 3k |
