if anyone know's what it is or what it is off i'd like to know its been in shed for a few years and i have no idea what it is off

Yeah, it'd be a bonnet emblem or mascot rathger..i reckon. As for what it's off ?
Back in the early days, diffrent companies made emblems for diffrent cars...Like say the FJ, You could but an emblem of diffrent sorts from diffrent people/companies making

that looks like the doobelackie or flutes, of an early 50.s> ford yank tank,,they used to go on both front mudgards??

i dont know much about it, but as soon as i saw it, it reminded me of the boonet emblems 50's chev's! always remembered the airoplane thing... i think one model had TWO on the bonnet!?

its SORTA like a 50's chev emblem. so simmilar, but not exact.

its off an early ford 51-52
looks like basketcasebear was right on the money
was thinking about putting it on ride on haha i might just put it up in the shed incase they are hardish to get and give to the person that needs it
