Hi guys - when I start my VT Calais it makes these funny electronic warning tones, some times (but not always) all warning lights on dash are illuminated; there is a black "x" on the centre climate control read out and the power steering; air-con and temp gauge dont work. Have read a few threads which suggest it's the abs module so ... I took out the fuse for the ABS. Now, no warning lights, and everything except ABS and traction control work. Was wondering if:

a) it's just a sensor? b) could it be something else? c) if the abs module is it tricky to replace yourself?

Would really appreciate a reply

Best and safest advice is to take it to GMH and get them to look at it, and give u a quote for the possible repair. It may be ABS, may be the Engine Management module.

But with no ABS, or TRACTION I would get to GMH. Its a nice car.

Cheers John
