Been reading on an NY times, since 2004 sales of ALL v8's has declined by 24%. Ford is considering dropping its v8 altogether.
If you think how much prices have gone up in last two years and they kept going that way......it'll be 4 cylinders everywhere.I do a fair few k's myself and easily spend 80 to 90 a week in lpg. With no relief really in sight, and fuel injected gas still far too expensive.....

Fuel is cheap when compared with car ownership. On 20,000km/year at 10L/100km and $1.50 per litre you will spend $3k a year on fuel.

Rego: $700 - 900
Comprehensive Insurance $300 - 1000
Two Services $100 - 600
Tyres: $200 - 500 (price of two tyres a

you're right warren, people don't realise that.

Peter, yes the CTP is about $500, Rego is about $400 when you factor in all the little costs. Third party property is a must (you don't want to smash into the back of a rolls royce and pay for the damage

We have 'Historic Registration' here and I've got a log book to fill in every time I go for a spi

We still have a V8 family car - the missus drives it around locally - it only sees $80 put into in once a month or so.

When I was driving to work, the V6 was $10 cheaper a week to run compared to the V8 over a 550km week. It was worth the $10 just for
