Ok I will just keep it short I got a 308 That I was rebuilding cause the head gasket went. Time has gone on just recently had a baby so money is mega tight anyway the motor has been stripped to a short motor basically the only thing that remains is the Block Pistons crank it is still in the car. I just wanted to know it has been sitting for about 6 months can I just bolt it all back together and get it running again, I am adding a new cam and bearings as I have already got them to put in. Is it safe to do this or do I have to rebuild the whole thing the bores seem in pretty good condition the head gasket went from overheating.I wont to get it back together to sell it but still torn between keeping and selling it is a tough decision Thanks ( If anyone has a spare 2 grand I will take it HAHAHA
