Our protest might be getting through to ebay,just had a email sent to me from ebay asking me why i have slowed my spending with them and any given reason why with a small survey,well i rubbed my hands together and gave them a piece of my mind or should i

Just be carful. That is was not a spam type email to try and gain you log in details.

Yes they are getting quite good at sending real looking emails. I dont sell anymore. But I still get fake emails. As soon as you click on the link it will go to the log in page. Always check that the page is a real ebay page. By looking at the addres

Well it looks like it's here to stay.

It is up to sellers to list their items stating the correct model ( & HOLDEN ) otherwise it will be missed by all except those who blunder upon it.

On that point some sellers do not have a clue !

Hi Gary, yep it looks like we have all lost on this one. ebay are a pack of bastards and all we can do is search smarter or try to find our stuff elsewhere.

I suggest anyone having trouble searching consult the ebay help pages for search syntax and tip

I`m not sure if it was ebay who sent this email, I went to my-ebay and that message was not in my list, it could be a scam to get details from people.

They only sent the email to seller accounts. They would prefer to keep the buyers in the dark as much as possible that their prices are going to rise due to sellers incorporating paypus fees.

Yes I think that from now on I will list things on eBay with a very high buy it now price or bump up the shipping AND link it to a real auction on a better auction site.

This way eBay will only rip me off for the listing fees and other auction sites
