Has any one done this if so what master cylinder did you use and booster

i used one from commodore vh and brake peddles (had to modify the firewall but looks better)
can use vh40 if you have one

Hi rb30evan.

There are many ways of doing this.

The simplest is to set it up like HD/HR discs. Remove the residual pressure valve from the master cylinder, add a VH40 booster & change the rear cylinders to 9/16", with shoes to match.

VH 40 is the best to use (if you don't need dual circuit brakes) unless you go the commodore way, but unless you really want HQ wheel bolt stud pattern which means you will have HQ front and EJ rear bolt pattern which is inconvenient.

CHEERS JOHN STUD PATTERN WONT BE A DRAMA AS I WILL BE RUNNING LATE MODEL PATTERN ALL ROUND WITH A 17"RIM. I HAVE GOT A COUPLE OF VH 40S BUT WASNT SURE IF THEY WERE LARGE ANOUGH. I HAVE SEEN EH/EJ WITH HQ ONWARDS BRAKES AND THEY ALL SEEM TO HAVE FIREWALL M

Vh 40s are the only ones large enough except for the factory ones of course. VH44 are actually smaller.
Vh40s have to have mounting brackets adapted as they won't go on firewall, suggest you ask some of these ones you have seen what they
