Ok, so finally got my 202 up and running after a full rebuild. 40thou over, full build kit, 28/68 cam, fair bit of head work..nice...anyhoo.. it's missing, and i can't work it out.

Everything's new, except the dizzy. Carby kit as well. It was running perfectly when i got it going, with some E10 in the tank and that mixed with the unleaded that was in there...not sure if it was regular or premium.

Other day i started it, and as i brought it down off choke (car parks on a hill, so even though it's a fresh motor, the choke helps get the fuel in when it's drained a little from the angle)...the car started stuttering and missing.

I've since stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the carby. Checked all leads/plugs (re-gapped them as well) ....put in a new fuel filter... checked and reset timing, mixture adjust...everything i can think of.

My only theory is that i've heard E10 contains more oxygen and as such runs leaner. With all the unleaded gone from the mix (it's got a tank of E10 in it now) could this alone be causing it to lean out and miss lightly at idle and load?

I'll be running the car on premium, but not till i've chased this miss.

Any help would be appreciated.

Peter.
