Hi im trying to put on a gilmer belt drive to my chev small block,
but nothing seems to line up correctly.

its a short water pump kit.

the alt & the crank pulley line up correct.
but the water pump pulley sticks out to far so that it will not line up with the alt pulley.

im confused as the v belt lined up perfectly.

do i have the right pulley for the W-pump. or maybe a long one by mistake.

could some one tell me the dimensions of the pulley for the short setup ???

Dyl,
Thats a bit risky mate i reckon. If you give the thing a big rev, i bet it will flex and break its mount. I hope there is a better solution.

Cheers
