Hey Guys,
Ive just put a 800 double pumper on my 351 clevo.
75 main jets, 85 secondaries im 4 turns out on the idol mixtures and by the spark plugs im still lean any ideas on jet sizes? can i come further out on the dol mixtures?

4 turns out on idle should be rich as a pig. Where abouts is it lean? If it's at high rpm? you have a fuel supply to the carb issue.

My 393 with an 830 used to only run 72's and 80's.

Thanks XB351, Im checking the plugs at idol at the moment, Im running a holley blue at just under 7psi.
had a look at the free flow from the pump getting just over a litre in 10 sec, is that enough?
I've playd with webbers and su's, but havnt had a lot

Is your acclerator pump working.
Check when you do it by hand and look at the acclerator pump to make sure the linkages are set up right and its pumping the extra gas. The acclerator pump is the part with a small lever in your case you have 2 as its a do

Also after its running let it run till warm then adjust mixture screws by one 8th turn out. Wait 10 sec and listern to see if it sounds better or worse do both screws equally.

After going out untill the engine sounds worse go the other way from the or

ONE MORE THING LOL THIS IS PROB MOST IMPORTANT

CHECK YOUR FLOAT LEVELS MAYBE THEY ARE TO LOW> YOUTUBE FOR VID OF THIS BUT HERES MY DISSCRIPTION.

On the side of the fuel bowl FRONT AND BACK is either a glass window OR a screw.
