Very few were made at all. What month in 72? What gearbox, colour and interior colour trim? Any other options like sunroof etc?

Ring Ford, and ask to be put in touch with the Historian so you can track down the history of your car. have all the vin numbers ready. With the specs you listed your car sounds like it might be a rare one. What sort of condition is she in?

A frie

Oh yeah, there were 404 XA Fairmont coupes made in Oct 72.
That's including the 6cyl , 8cyl, GS and non GS types.

Thankyou Paul for sharing your knowledge, she's in excellent condition with no rust, has always been a country car.I'm having trouble resizing the photos, as I'd love to post a picture.
