Hi people. I have a HZ ute that is already setup for SBC and th400. I've got a 307 chev to put in it to get it drivable. I also have a saginaw 4 speed which appears to be in good condition. I dont have flywheel, clutch + presure plate. has fork and bearing tho. Do I need to buy a hydraulic clutch conversion kit (dellow sell $395) to make the gearbox work in my ute? Are there parts from other holdens (eg with muncie box) that I can use for this conversion? I can send pics if required. I'd appreciate any help.

From Roy

Mounting box and modifying driveshaft wont be a problem. If it is a HK b

Unless it's a late HZ pedal it won't suit a WB cable setup. If it is a HK style bellhousing you'll need a 10.5" flywheel. Plus the bellhousing will be a push fork, but you need a pull fork for a cable clutch. You can fit a hydraulic setup but it does get
