Was wandering how much difference there is between the chev 327's and 350s how much potential in each and what each could be stroked out to.

difference? about 33cubes. 350 goes out to 383 real cheap. 327 can be stroked in the same fashion, but to get to 383 needs to be bored to 4".

350 hands down.

It's not always a case of more cubes equals more power.
The exception to this rule, is the 302 Chev as fitted in 1970 model Camaros, which made another 100hp more than any 350 fitted to any other second gen Camaro produced after that date. Don't ask me w

Post 1967 327 and 2 piece rear main seal 350 are the same block (both are 4"). There is also an early small journal 327. 327 is a sweet little engine but is shorter in stroke than the 350 by about 0.25" so lacks torque compared to the 350. As they are the

Take the crank out and they are the same thing. 1968 302, 327 and 350 all share a common block. Forget 2 bolt, 4 bolt etc, basic blocks are identical.
