Hi all, Just wondering if any of you guys know if a 9inch diff clears the fuel tank in a HT Premier when the cars is lowered 3 inches. I haven't put the diff or the fuel tank in yet but have been told i might have dramas. Has anyone out there experienced this please.
Cheers

Hi again, I have seen this combo punch holes in the fuel tank being this low. Why 3 inches? The way you might be able to get around this is to play with the bump stops. I know some wagons utes and vans have a taller bump stop plate on the diff housing. Th |

Hump in HK-HG is designed for 12-bolt clearance. You dont need it with a 10-bolt.

Hi Byron, 12 bolt is the amount of bolds around the crown wheel. In the HK HT HG's they had some of these but people think the are only 10 bolts as this is the amount of backing plate bolts. The HK HT HG 10 and 12 bolts are all the same size on the outsid |

I suggest you have another good look at the physical differences of 10 and 12 bolt diffs. Nothing is alike.

Page 188 and 189 you mean? The 12 bolt is much different to look at than a 10-bolt. Sort of like looking at a banjo and a 9" together, but not quite as big a difference.
