Good Evening All, I am in Hallam, Vic and wondered if anyone knows a repairer of cast alloy that has been chromed, like a HR headlight surround (no, I am not wanting to get one of those done ... I have 30!).
I am restoring a 67 Oldsmobile and one of the chromed alloy pieces is damaged / scarred.
I'm open to anyone anywhere but it would be nice if there was someone in Melbourne / Vic.
Thanks in advance

If its bent then its real hard to straighten it. Im guessing its cast? . . . . I would say impossible to straighten it. If you heat it up, it goes from a solid to a liquid in the blink of an eye. Done it before!!!
If you just need to weld up a crack

thank you both.
I felt the bent one was not repairable too... and the scarred one may turn out to be dearer than my last alternative... getting one from the U.S. ... which I have organised.
