L36 it would be - 253.
XV2 confirms it as an SS.
1980 is Maranello Red.

Without a body number off that plate, or the corresponding tag number off the VIN plate, you cant tell if its a HDT.

Its a genuine SS.

As for if its a Brock, youd need to either look through pages & pages of the bible available on ebay, or ring HDT with the numbers & ask them.

Hi Guys I have just contacted HDT about my VH commodore to confirm if it is a ADP Brock as i was told by the 2nd owner of it, They cant find the vin number to confirm but have stated quite a few records are missing & it could fall into that range they hav

8X69 is SL/E sedan.
L = 202 carby engine.
B = model year code (built between sept 1 1981 & Aug 31 1982)

The only 202 HDT ever made was the VK "Project Berlina" EFI.
