hi can anyone throw me a few pointers
i am putting a electronic dizzy in a torana holden 6
currently has points type
there is 2 wires coming from the electronic dizzy
one is green and one is light tan/brownish
were do these go and what do i need to do to get this working properly

hi thanks but i went back to 148 and still cant find a solution to were the 2 wires go . and i checked the other pages before i posted
sorry but cant seem to find it,

hi kyle 76 has a bit on also you have to have the right coil the old coil wont do cheers ps keep looking

Hi kyle.

The short version is:

1. You must use the late model HEI coil which comes with the dissy.
2. Green wire to - terminal.
3 Tan wire to + terminal.
4. Run a 12V supply straight to coil, using either a relay or a new wire directly from the i

thats what i was after
thanks heaps
so mate the 12v power supply is only a positive CORRECT? OR DO I NEED A EXTRA GROUND WIRE ALSO?
AND CAN I RUN THIS 12V WIRE STRAIGHT FROM FUSE PANEL WERE THE IGNITION WIRE ORIGINATES?

set your motor to top dead centre No1 compression stroke( if in doubt remove #1 plug and stick your finger in the hole and turn the engine over by hand when you feel pressure build up keep turning till the timing marks line up) your rotor button should be
