It will be interesting to see how two of these auctions end.

This is an original restored HG 350 Monaro, with a buy it now of $250,000 I think he's optimistic ... and a Bathurst model..?????

This is an original HG 350 Monaro needing a full resto. Currently at $50,000 reserve not met.

This is a restored base model V8 HG Monaro painted Indy Orange and done up like a 350 GTS...currently at $44,700

It is interesting that the pile of parts is worth more than the restored Monaro. Goes to show just how much those model numbers on the plate are worth and how stupid people are in paying $4000 to $8000 for a shell that is missing it's ID plates.

This base model 161 monaro is up to $9200 and has a non original 186 in it. Hot to mention all the work needed.

For the same sort of money as the above base monaro I would be buying this 67 350 4sp Camaro instead.

As much as I like old Holdens, for $250,000 you can buy a Shelby GT500 hatchback Mustang. Given the choice between a 1971 HG350 Monaro and a 1969 429 Shelby GT500 I wouldn't be driving home in the Monaro.

IMO the guy wanting $250K for the HG is a realist... he accepts that there probably wont be 2 people wanting to pay a premium for this car so he is hoping to snare just 1.... holding it back... its a HG .... I dont like the delete stripes.. looks a bit pl

Before xmas I had an offer of around $10,000 for my HQ SS and it still needs paint , I turned down the offer as I want to finish it and drive it, I have owned it for 9 years , when
