can anyone help me somehow disconnect my "flapper valve"on the botton of the turbo charger, in the cold weather it makes a loud air rushing sound with a decrease in engine power 1999 f-550 td,

you sure this flapper valve isnt your relief or blow off valve common place on deisel engines is there, could be faulty or just doing its job as cold air is more dense. would look like a read valve or flapper valve and non adjustable not like the after ma
