Hello to all,

I am changing the clutch on my xy falcon and iv'e been told that the ring gear on the flywheel has had it.

The flywheel is fine and just requires re-facing, so i dont want to buy a new complete unit.

so what I am asking is can you buy the ring gear on its own or, do I have to get a new flywheel.

any help would be great

cheers.

Yes the ring gear is a replaceable unit. You have to remove the old one with a cold chisel and heat the new one up to expand it then drop it on. When it cools and shrinks it will be tight. It might help to have the flywheel in the freezer to shrink it bef
