Has anyone used the braided hose cover kits you can buy on ebay. They come with anodised clamp covers and all you need by the look of it. They look pretty good but I am not convinced. What do ya reckon??

hey mate, ive used them on my HZ, they do look good if they are done properly. Because they are braided, i used a lot of WD40 to stop them grabbing on the rubber hoses, they dont slide over them easily. Also, if you try to forcibly pull?stretch them over

it wasnt too hard, my hoses were pretty tired, so they needed replacing anyway. hit two birds with one stone, plus i didnt like looking at 2000ft of black hose thanks to gas, heater, emmission, radiator and all the rest. Worth it in the end. Cheers
