Anyone from Queensland out there, we would love to fit a B&M after market shifter to our Holden powered rod has anyone done this legally in Queensland and if so whats the best one to use say for safety, reliability and ease of using.

Geez mate, How bad is queensland getting if ya gotta ask a question like that ?
I will say this though, Ive got a Bn M ratchet shifter (dunno its correct name sorry) in my buggy http://gallery.oldholden...ter+illiterate/nutcase/ and i find it an abs

Not a drama at all buddy, i have a pro ratchet shifter in my HQ, and it is 100% legal, the only problem you might face is the illumination, but depending wht yr the car was made, my HQ being 1971 does not require illumination for the 1,2,D,N,R,P etc, but

Didnt the hq have a lit console? What about hj, i put a megashifter in so id have the gear indicator on the right side and a lamp. I would have rathered a pro ratchet though.
