does anyone out there own a xt gt without an id plate from the radiator support i used to own the car and i still have the plate it was red and the rego at the time started with dzi a nsw plate or maybe the car has gone to god all the best

It's not illegal to have the plate, but's it's illegal to put it on a car that it doesn't belong to.
What you should do is contact the local GT club, tell them you have the plate and are looking for the original car. Technically, it belongs to them.
