I have a 9" diff housing with 1 tonne axles to suit a HQ-WB ute but no centre or brakes. It was made by C & F Engineering in Toowoomba and uses the standard Holden tubes, axles and brakes. I also got a drain bung fitted to the housing. It would have done less than 1000 km in the ute I had so is still in good condition. $400. Phone 0427 350 461 for details. Can be inspected in Brisbane next week if required.

Hi Byron, I didn't actually have any clearance issues with the original Holden fuel tank in my ute but went for a new housing arrangement when I put the alloy tank in, but yes they can run close in some utes. I also had the shorter yoke which may make a

OK. I'd seen it done before and noticed how close the tailshaft comes to the tank. There is actually a better way to do what you have done, and that is to use VN axles. They are exactly the right length for HQ-WB and put the 9" yoke in the centre. They us |
