Finally fired up my ute today after 12 months restoration. Runs well but thinking should fit oil pressure and water temp. gauge. Wondering what is best - mechanical or electric. Any advise would be appreciated.

Mechanical simpler, but the feeds are a) thicker and b) you end up with a tube full of oil behind the dash. Fine if it all hangs together and you don't move them. Not so fine if something rubs / breaks or you need to remove.
Electric you are just feedi
