hi all
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what colour decals/stickers are meant to be on a 1976 hx Sandman Panelvan in Royal Plum Metallic?
Any help would be appreciated

try www.sandmanowners.com they have a listing of the decals and the paint colours that were matched to them, seems to down at the minute though. Leroy |

hey
thanks, i looked at the site it mentions the 5 colour scemes for the hx but doenst mention which one for my colour. will keep trying

Dave if you contact me this bloke is from the Sandman club and will tell you exactly what color decals where on it. I am thinking that given the color of van it may of only had one choice of decal color but some of the other color Sandmans had a choice o

hey dave any luck? i havent been around these forums for a while.... that is aquite a unique colour you got on your hx, whats your vinyl trim code? if its not 18v could lead us in the right direction... otherwise i'll dummy up some proofs for what would b

I havent had a chance to contact the guy Cannon referred me to yet so no i dont know the colours as yet. Unique i know i hadnt heard of the colour until Byron told me what my codes meant. My trim code is 1918 60a which i believe is Chamoi

60A is Chamois Vinyl. 1918 is your Royal Plum metallic.

ok, only 5 decal combos availble for hx, when you look at all decals & colour combo's availble it becomes quite apparent what colour the royal plum metallic would have had regardless of interior etc... hey sandman fan, i spoke to the guys making the "real" sandman decals today & they are out of hx dx5s ( im in need of a set too!) could be a wait of 4-5 months so might want to contact them asap & put your order in so we can get em movin ;D
