Looks like a 4cyl LC to me. Holden made 4cyl LC and LJ, and then when the LH was released the 4cyl LC/LJ shape became the first of the "Geminis" ie TA until the TX Gemini was released. _______________________________________________________ If we all Edited by user Wednesday, 9 April 2008 6:54:52 AM(UTC)

Yep 100% LC 4 cylinder. Do not know if he will get a id at that starting price, maybe someone who needs a few panels might buy it.
Are you still sure the car you looked at was not an LJ?

These LC-TA 4cyl Toranas are fantastic sources of quarters and doors for XU-1's of same model.

Looks like a 1974 TA Torana to me, the hubcaps and front nose give it away to me, still a good source of LC LJ parts as already said. The ID plate would tell the story.
Cheers

now im confused.im not the biggest torana follower but i thought the Lc was distinguished by the slight point in the nose cone which was mirrored by the bumper .from what you lot have posted up did the Lcs have a different nose due to being a 4cyl then.

yes all the 4pots had a shorter/different front. So the 'HB' you looked at probably was an LJ 4pot

Yes only the 6 cylinder LC/LJ have the pointy front, due to the longer engine. They were only going to be a 4 but changed to the idea of a 6.
Wonder what the seller of the LJ thinks?
