excitedly awaiting parts from American Vacuum Plater

woke up to this email...

************************

Unfortunately I have a bit of bad news...it seems that our bake oven operator forgot to turn down the oven after we baked some engine compartment pieces, and a batch of restoration parts were accidentally baked at 270 degrees instead of their normal 170 degrees. The plastic cannot withstand that kind of heat and unfortunately the entire run of parts melted. The unfortunate part of this for you is that 2 pieces from your order were in that particular run

***********************

Thank God it was minor pieces...

stuff happens eh

So... if anyone has the 2 parts I need to replace please let me know. Must be in very good to excellent condition.

1 HK Prem/GTS/Brougham glovebox plastic trim (the bit that the woodgrain sits in)

1 KTG top console insert. The small square one at the front of the console. Can be drilled for woodgrain retainer holes or not, can have tacho section knocked out or not.

Cheers

Its easy. You provided two parts to the plater to chrome for you. You require back from the plater two parts covered in chrome. If they have destroyed your parts through their negligence (or employees negligence) then it is up to them to make good, not
