Ok i've looked over the forum which leads me to starting this thread, i've been having an argument with a bloke at work, what are the differences between an XW and an XY Falcon, body/interior/engine???

XW - 351 Windsor
XY - 351 Cleveland

XW - Centre pull handbrake - bracket on crossmember
XY - handbrake cable as per XA onwards

Interiors very similar - minor cosmetic changes

Different taillights, grille.

Some panel changes - front guards an

XW 351 WINDSOR then went to 351 CLEVELAND on march 1970.
ZC 351 WINDSOR fairlane 290 HP. option 4 sp man, and 4 barrel GT cleveland.
I think the fordomatic and cruisomatic are only a term name. as cruiseomatic can represent for the C4 and FMX. so in the

There was a what is called a phase 1 1/2 it sold for about 2 months, was i think only a 351 GT cleveland motor. then came the phase 2 with big cam ect. all this motors modifications were done to the imported motor, in australia.
