K means McKinnon assembly plant, Canada. 08 is 8th. 07 is July. So this is probably 8/7/68. Check the casting date on the side of the block for the year.

The K0708 bit was stamped in Canada. the 307xxxxx bit was stamped by the Holden vehicle assembly plant. J167 on an inlet is 16/11/67.
