A 1971 LC should have all 3 plates. That is just a chassis number. Could be anything including a 4 cylinder.

Prior to 1/1/68 (HK) there were no VIN plates. ADR plates started in 1/1/70 (this is the one with the chassis number on it).

My 1996 VS Commodore doesn.t have any plates and I got it regisitered in 2000 and subsequently renewed regisistration every year after that in NSW without any dramas.

As long as there is a Chasis No and an Engine No, that should be all that is necessar
