hi, just wondering about peoples experiences with the edelbrock quadrajets
i normally like to buy something new over s/h or "recoe'd" and i see that they are for sale for a bit more than the price of a rebuild
they come in 4 sizes, 500,600,750 and 800 cfm at WIDOWMAKER
so i'm guessing that the 1 for a 308 or 350 would be the 750
like to hear your opinions please

I have a 600 performer on a mild 318 in a VG valiant and it has been really good. The car goes good and I have not had a problem in 3 years. It has an electronic choke and starts 1st time every time.

just talked to the retailer
he said that they were an edelbrock built CARTER
any thoughts ?

Rochester got Carter to build some Rochester Q-Jets for them in the late 60's and 70's. These have a different motif on the side of them,..
The Edelbrock, Carter, and Rochester are all fairly simular in design. and i think i read somewhere that the |

A small piece of advice,
Stay well clear of Carter Carburetters, they have very poor base throttle plates and warp at the smell of heat. The die casting aluminium in these things are a low grade smelter pot aluminium, meaning it's not the cleanest with
