Looking at my 76 model XC it has the clour M and I have a ford manual but no letter M for the xc it has the colour code M for XA but not xc not sure if a have them all.

Are you sure it is M and not H, XC paint code H=RED FLAME

In my list I have M as Yellow Blaze 73-74, Blaze Blue 76-77, Satin Spruce Metallic 77-78. hope this helps.

no thats one of my xc's it's vermillion red, the other one is a kind of lime greenish colour sort of an army green hard to explain, the car is 1976. thanks for the help anyway.

farout I double checked and there really isn't anything that it could be anymore than M and the weird thing is it's a green colour I might have to see if it's been resprayed. it has trim J a also can't find that the interior is a sickly dark lime.
