Hi All I am wondering what is the general concensus on wrecking instead of restoring rare....valuable....collectable cars.Should they be saved for future generations to see..admire,or should they be wrecked out for profit and parts?I personally can see it from both sides as I have known people who wreck only Fords. Then other people I know are restoring or have restored the same cars.Is there a wrong or a right? One say's the other is crazy, but neither can survive without the other. Cheers.

But on the other hand, how will you restore the car in the first place without others wrecking to supply pa

sometimes the buyers just aren't out there, so you have to wreck...

Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid. |

from my point of view as an owner of a yard that specialises in dismantling classic holdens and also being an enthusiast...
if good clean collectibles are not pulled apart then the rubbish that people are restoring will not get put back together.
