Value is a matter of degrees, an unmolested excellent condition car will be worth the most, a replica in poor condition will be worth the least.

A cut and shut would be something most people would avoid if possible, its up to the seller to present all

I should also ask, are these discussions about rebodied cars by the perspective of monaro enthusiasts or legal implication? Very few of these cars (all monaro's) would be concourse anyway so the "value" of these cars will always be questioned by the puris

Vicroads dont use the tags. They only care about the chassis and engine numbers. They may compare the tag to the the chassis number to see if they match, but many dont if they have had a chassis change etc. So at the end of the day its only the engine and

The only reasons they check the engine and chassis numbers are:

1. Theyre stamped into metal and

2. ADR compliance for the later item, ie late engine in early body or vice versa.

Tags are removable and hard to track.
