did the 308 come out with single or duel exhaust
after seening different articles about the HZ. does it have a rubber strip on the bumper or not.
seening an old holden article. it shows a HZ Sandman with black along the bottom of the guards and along the sills and rear quarters to then up around the bumpers. but then you see a brochure and the van doesnt have all the black down the sides along the sills.
my van is 6 month 78.
so any info will be helpfull. thank you............. Jamie

i always thought the twin exhaust was an option.

I believe all HZs had rubber strip.

i dont think the black paint went around the sills, rear guards.

what brochure are you looking at? 1977 the hz sandman brochure (sandwitch) shows the black outs as you described, from the guards to the sills & around the rear bumpers this is how they were, & of course the airdam was standard & this is always the colour

hi
Im not sure about the blackouts, but from memory, the dual exhaust was only optional on the sedans, and the single system was the one and only for the wagons and commercials from HQ-HZ. But Im happy to be corrected (with unequivocal proof of course!)

Single exhaust, blackouts along sills and the rubber bumper strip was an optional extra available on the HX/HZ range. I cant find anywhere in the parts catalogues that dual exhaust was available as an option on the commercial range.
