Dose the alloy head on a leaded carbureted XF have welch/welsh plugs in it? If so where are they located?

Off the top of my head, they may have casting hole plugs in the top of them, usually heads with them have a threaded allen key bung in them, I would like to know why you ask this good question? Sorry, it has been a while since I have touched an engine lac

I have a slow coolant leak. I can see a drop of green coolant forming under the inlet manifold. Holdens have small welsh plugs under the manifolds to block off the coolant chambers. I thought fords may have as well.

Yes they do... They are in the normal place. On the block below the exhaust manifold (Left hand side). Its best you replace all of them as usually if one rusts through it won't be long before the rest do. Its a difficult job as you will need to unbolt the
