Thats a pretty good copy of a Brisbane plate. Its hard to see any difference between it and my original by just viewing it on the computer screen.

I have a few old bodies here for parts/wrecking but am reluctant to remove their tags and have body shells around with tags removed. reckon any copper would see this, and therefor me, as rather suss.

hey 80737 i reckon i did the same gave my numbers to someone to cross refrence on this forum & have been a little worried about someone using them .so anyway what i did when i registered my car i made sure that the body number & tag numbers along with the

warrnen. i tried to email ben a while back to find out if my hz gts is on the register and got no reply. if i email you details can you tell me? interested to see if any of the two owners before me (i know em both) put it on there.

Just to clear something up on these tags. The motor registry does not record any info from HK tags. So even if you insist on them being recorded, if I remake your numbers and do not insist on them being recorded then the motor registry would not know. The

gday warren just looked at reg papers & you are correct they are not on the reg papers but are recorded because when we changed the engine they ask for engine , body & vin numbers which we completed at the time i asked for them to be on the rego papers

The guy who sent me the repo tag photo, said he has a few varieties to suit different plants & eras, but Im not 100% positive that Ill have mine done yet... but here is a brissy built car next to my melb built GTS tag.

see it,s all about the tags not the cars, that what s**t,s me...
only a fool would buy a car on the tags alone,i wounder how many of these gts 327 have the real tags on them???? lost, stolen reshelled???.

so if for example an original untouched 307 HK GTS with the tags never touched was worth $60K (example price only)

what would the same genuine car be worth if it had no tags on the car at all.....

as much as 25% less in my opinion... tags are not wo

what does it all matter, some has 300 sets of blank genuine tags (hk) and access to a machine that can stamp them....
