Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows what an engine I have could be worth approx. Its a 308 (trimatic pattern) with qt prefix. i have been told it is a 1972 engine. It is still running in my car and goes great. No smoke, doesnt use oil. No overheating problems. I am replacing it with a nother engine with numbers closer to my car. Any thoughts on price and desirability?

Any 308 HQ (Kingswood V8, Monaro V8, Premier V8, GTS V8 (not 81837 or 81869), Monaro LS V8) except Statesman.

I actually thought a QT engine would be worth more than that. Obiviously depending on condition. They do suit Monaros.
