i have a celica 5 speed gear box in my 1962 ek holden and was wondering where the gearbox gets mounted off.and does it matter if it is mounting off floor pan

I wouldn't mount a gearbox off your floorpan!! I've never looked under an EK but you should have a crossmember that goes over the back of the crash box and another piece that bolts under it. The crash box was unsupported at the rear and, being light, just
