reading in my Vt owner manual in the oil specs, normal use use 20-50 for better economy use 15-40 viscosity . Has anyone noticed any difference in economy using different oil viscosity ?

I haven't checked the price of crude for the past week or so, but with it being around $130US/barrel, there isn't much profit margin for anyone.
Oil prices are set by OPEC. Not oil companies, govts etc.
At least not as much as everyone seems to think.
