the nobheads who `speculate` oil prices are to blame and they are quite often wrong.
I am getting my VT on LPG this week and cashing in on the govt rebate, it will still cost me $900. for a parnell unit, but its cheaper than paying full price as I did o

settle down,,OMFG!!!

what sandman does not realise is that the oil does not cost the oil companies $130 per barrel to produce! this price is what the market is paying!
i do not know what it costs? but what i do know is this,

It's pushing fuel prices way higher than they should be.

Back to crude prices, I love it when the big fuel companies make more $$ because as a share holder that means i make more $$.

I have cut way back on fuel too. Dont put it on my cornflakes anymore and only sniff it on weekends

As reported in the news 27/5/08 -

Cost of fuel delivered to your local service station is $0.85 cents.
Excise Tax is $0.60 cents
GST Tax is $0.14 cents

Total cost of Fuel is $1.595

The trouble is only the refineries know what that 85c is made up of, their profit could be 40c for all we know.

My point is if the price of oil goes up on the commodity market the refinery increases its gate price straight away despite the fact that they havent bought any oil at that price yet, also, we dont import all of our oil needs, so if the price goes up in t
