G'day All,

Basically i got some HT monaro bucket seats destined for a HK coupe im restoring and wanted to fit the hk monaro pattern aftermarket seat covers on, is this possible?
Are the actual frames and structure the same for both HK and HT bucket seats?
If anybody out there could help please do.
Cheers.

I'm almost certain they are the same, but I haven't actually done what you describe. When Warren sees this he will probably be able to confirm/deny for sure.

HK Monaro seats sat lower than HK sedan or HT seats.

Hey Warren, Im abit confused from your comment, do you mean that you can or cant fit the aftermarket HK seatcovers to a HT bucket seat??
And what do you mean by it sat lower, is it the brackets that you fix the seat to the floor that is lower between th

interesting... Warwick I think he means the seat base is different, not the brackets, as I am under the impression that all brackets are the same. Which might mean that the k monaro bases are channeled over the brackets, or the base might be thinner. Be i

The adjusters are the same sedan to Moanro, yet Moanro has spacers to increase seat hieght.

So my deduction would be that as the monaro seat is lower the bottom seat rails are the same then the seat frame itself must be lower.

Hi Warren, in my experience it is the sedans that have the spacers.

My guess - amd just a guess from what you said previously, is that the K Monaro has lower height in the spring structure. The bottom bit where all the springing mounts to would be the

Yes the HK seat is lower than the HT/G in my interpretation of Holden info, but it also has the coupe seat lower than the sedan seat, but these days it is hard to 100% know what car a seat was fitted to, as not many have their origianl trim fitted.
