Hi everyone, We have a 1979 Toyota Crown and recently I noticed the tail lights aren't very reflective of a day time and for safety reasons this is a concern to me but of a night they are very reflective.

I love the look of the XP Falcon tail lights and would love to replace the existing Crown lights with them, now would the entire light assembly be available to purchase new .

I'm thinking 2 on either side would be perfect and use those Led light bulbs, did the XP ever come out with a reveres light if not maybe I could adapt the 2 inner blinkers as reverse lights. I would just need to source an aftermarket lens that would fit for the reversing light.

Does anyone know the diameter of a XP tail light, the area I have to play with is 90mm.

Cheerio

The xp light housing on the car is 45mm deep for the mounting (recessed) 180mm ID where it bolts up and the external measuremnt is 220mm where the chrome surround overlaps, I do not think you can get them new, but there are some very nice old 1's on the m

Hi there,
When you say aluminum buckets what part are you referring to.
Maybe the chrome trim outer part, I'll have a look at your site and compare tour prices against the rare spares prices.
Thanks for the assistance
