It is interesting reading yuor posts regarding the tri-matic. A friend of mine drove a 202 HQ with a trimatic from Singapore to London.
Along the way the trimatic stopped changing properly. Once he got to England he took the car to a transmission shop a

We had one in an HX Prem and had nothing but trouble with it, slow going into reverse flared shifts had it 'fixed' under warranty that many times eventually it was alright. I recommend a large trans cooler with them that radiator tank set up is a joke. Pr
