Guys,
I was having a beer tonight at the pub (very unusual-seriously) and I caught up with a guy who I knew owns an 81837 coupe from new and as we are talking outside (he's a smoker) an old guy (maybe 75 or more) standing going thorugh his wallet & listening, pipes up and say's "I sold HK Monaros new for United Motors"... "I was a member of the Holdens Sales Guild"....He stared with new Monaro and Torana stories.... The very first demo model released was a 307 Manual - a yellow one, to quote old Dave "The tyres only lasted 500 miles and the boss went mad" & "I've had a couple of rides down Pt Road off the clock"....Funny thing was he only came down the pub to buy a lottery ticket and he had the two of us in stiches.... It cant be an 81837 4-door. 37 means coupe to start with.

It can't be an 81837 4-door. 37 means coupe to start with.

Well maybe it's an 80469 them... but it's a GTS 350...

Well maybe its an 80469 them... but its a GTS 350...

I doubt it. Probably a 307 auto Kingswood that had the engine changed. He might be the same guy that reckons he also had an auto HK GTS 327?? It'd be great for him to prove himself right though.
