there was HQ statesman on ebay showing a build date of 3/82 insted of 3/72, on the comp plate..

Thats good news
in the back of my mind i had a nag that wouldnt go away but was sure it was fine
I just checked the trim code is definately 1859 so that is good.

thanks for letting me know, unfortunately while very nice (dont you just love that colour) a non matching chassis causes nothing but headaches here in Perth trying to register it. You have to prove ownership of the chassis and explain why it has

I went really well and looks like we can do a deal.
