Hi I hoping someone may have some ideas on what may be wrong with my VL. Oneday it started to play up as if it was starving for fuel. When turned of it didnt want to start again. Checked fule pump and fule supply wich waz fine. Found a lack of spark and having 10 month old leads i replaced both the coil and dizy wich seemed to fix the prob untill it gets hot. We have shecked the self diagnosis codes and it comes up with thec fault codes for the air flow meter circuit, coolant temperature sensor circuit, ignition signal circuit and then after thoes it flashes the code for Satisfatory operation. Any ideas? A holen dismantler has sujested maybe the computer.

I have now just taken it for a run waiting for it to get hot and cut out and when it did ran the self diagnostics again and this time it came up with the crank angle sensor ciruit fault followed by the satisfactory operation code.

in the VL the crank angle sensor is in the distributor so you have already changed it - try the coolant sensor, if no luck there it will be the computer
